Stephane mainly uses the oil painting medium for his paintings although he has been also painting with watercolors. However, oil painting adapts better to his style and interests. Stephane is an experimented sailbot racer (Laser class) and he now concentrates on the sailing environment in his paintings, as well as on sports in general. Stephane likes painting water and is constantly investigating this element in his paintings. Light, movement, shades and reflexions are also recurring themes in his work.
Stephane is also interested in urban scenes and is currently working on a series of paintings inspired in his stay in the United States. Paintings include views of NYC and other American cities, Oregon, New Mexico, etc...
